More Clearance. More Torque. More Pioneer.
Put your Honda Pioneer 1000 on GDP Portals and find out what its really capable of. SuperATVs 6 Portal Gear Lift gives you room for monster tires and the torque to put them to work. Choose a 30%; 45%; or 60% gear reduction; cast or billet aluminum housings; and single or dual idler gears. Weve done the hard work so you can take on the hard trails.
Which Gear Reduction Should You Choose?
Need help matching your tire size and riding style to a reduction? Check out our portal gear reduction calculator.
Should You Upgrade to Dual Idlers?
Adding a second idler gear is easy. Getting both gears to share the load takes precision—and thats where GDP earns its name. Our CNC-ground 9310 steel alloy gears mesh perfectly to spread the load over twice as much surface area. You get more reliable torque transfer and our strongest gear set. If you plan to push your Pioneer hard; this is the upgrade you want.
Cast or Billet Aluminum?
Choose cast or billet aluminum housings for your Pioneer. Both options have reinforcement for gear retention and an interior optimized for oil flow. Each kit also includes 5/16 backing plates made from an advanced steel alloy thats stronger than chromoly.
What Size Tires Can You Run?
Use the table below to match your tire size to your suspension setup.
Before you order; check the Fitment tab for your model and year; wheel requirements; and compatibility restrictions.
Do You Need a Frame Stiffener?
We strongly recommend a SuperATV Frame Stiffener with your 6 portals. Portals and oversized tires can put extra strain on your machine; and a frame stiffener adds reinforcement where you need it.
How Do Portals Affect Your Drivetrain?
GDP Portals put the gear reduction at the wheel hubs. That helps reduce stress on your axles; differential; prop shaft; and transmission compared to oversized tires without gear reduction.
GDP Riders Say It Best
