When you start making real power—whether it’s through a performance exhaust, high-flow intake, or our custom CVT tuning—your factory clutch rollers become a weak link. They weren’t built to handle the abuse that comes with serious upgrades. These Rollers and Roll Pins are.
Why These Rollers Matter:
- The secondary clutch rollers are a critical component in your CVT system. Under extreme load, factory rollers can crack, wear unevenly, or fail entirely. When that happens, the damage doesn’t stop there—broken rollers can shred your CVT belt, Damage the Helix and even destroy your Transmission. That’s why replacing and upgrading your rollers should never be overlooked, especially if you’re modifying your Ryker. These Rollers are made to withstand some serious Horse Power and abuse when compared to the stock rollers. These are the best you can get.
Why These Heavy Duty Roll Pins Matter:
- The factory roll pins are made for one time use. Any roll pin in any application should be replaced once removed. Even our SS HEAVY DUTY ROLL PINS. The difference is the material. These upgraded roll pins will not get week over heat cycles. The factory roll pins can become week over time and if the roll pins come out during operation the Roller bolts can back out. That would be a catastrophic failure. The roll pins act like a spring / lock holding the roller bolts in and not allowing them to be removed. These SS HEAVY DUTY ROLL PINS are a more superior option then the stock factory roll pins.
Why These Lock Washers Matter:
- The roller bolt gets locked in 2 different ways. The roll pins and the DOMED RIBBED LOCK WASHERS. If the lock washers are now flattened and no longer DOMED. They need replaced. The set of Domed Ribbed Lock Washers we carry is a direct replacement for the stock factory ones. It is best practice to replace these when installing new rollers. The Domed outward side goes towards the clutch. (See photos)
